Our Story
Every world leader has one thing in common: Clarity. They know their vision, understand why they are pursuing it, and how to get there.
Dr. Ranjan, who is one such AI leader and co-founder of AiChef Academy, says that clarity comes from thought-simplification.
A pioneer in AI and book author, Dr. Ranjan has published several award winning research, and developed some most advanced AI solutions for sustainable manufacturing in industries.
He says, "complex solutions to complex problems get nowhere." To solve any problem, we must learn to deconstruct it. This is how AI works and so does our lives. He adds, "doing AI taught me the most important life-skill: simplification."
Dr. Ranjan believes AI is the solution to most of the world's problems. So, he wants to teach AI to the entire next generation. He knows well how to teach AI and what must be learned from it.
The only question remaining was: which is the best place to teach? He was looking for the right time and place when he spoke with Bharti. Dr. Ranjan was reminiscing with her how the foundations, like geometry, he learned at school helped him flourish in AI. This surprised Bharti because she was unaware of this connection. But she could see the difference it makes in how Dr. Ranjan solves problems. The edge he has over the others.
At this moment, it became clear to both that school is the right place and the children are the right learners. And, so, AiChef Academy was formed.
Our mission is to teach school children the powerful tool of AI, and impart the simplification skill to make them leaders and entrepreneurs of the future.
Dr. Chitta Ranjan
Dr. Ranjan is an NTSE Scholar, Mathematics Olympiad Recipient, and National Science Olympiad Winner. He received the top 1% percentile award by CBSE for Social Science in Class 10th. Raised in Jamshedpur, he grew up learning every subject in detail, got into IIT Kharagpur, and completed his Ph.D. from Georgia Tech at a very early age. He has been teaching since as early as Class 9th. He has taught students from middle school, high school, and college. Now he is a world-renowned researcher and author. His book, Understanding Deep Learning, is taught in data science classes at the top universities in the USA and the IITs in India. Also, his research has won international best paper awards and his patents in AI are solving critical Industry problems.
Bharti Malik
Bharti learned very differently from Dr. Ranjan. Growing up in New Delhi she exposed herself to a variety of extra co-curricular activities. She led sports and cultural activities. She was a 100m athlete, won national level school debates, stage drama, and dance. She even featured in a dance performance on Doordarshan. She also developed an exceptional speaking skill making her host of national school events. Later, she continued her stride at top companies such as KPMG, Cognizant, and American Express. Besides, she is a fitness evangelist doing crossfit, yoga, and jujitsu. She crossed paths with Dr. Ranjan when she enrolled in data science masters at Georgia Tech to form AiChef Academy. Being mother to a child her mission now is to spread knowledge for a blissful success for all children.
AiChef Academy is founded in Atlanta with operations in India and USA. Our vision is to inspire, guide, and educate children to become AI leaders. World renowned dignitaries teach at AiChef Academy from their life experiences—sharing their past, how they learned, the turning points, and how they treaded to achieve success.
The average experience of these dignitaries is more than a decade with most of them holding doctorate degrees from the top universities such as Stanford, Georgia Tech, MIT, UC Berkeley, etc. Besides, they are recipients of international awards and are at top positions in their career.
With these dignitaries, AiChef Academy has been educating students for success. So far, AiChef has over 1.7 million minutes of teaching and counting.
